At the DDSB, our guiding principles include recognizing and upholding distinct Indigenous rights and affirming and upholding human rights.
There are numerous considerations, influences, constraints, duties, and commitments that converge to shape staff practice and influence student experience. To demonstrate the many layers involved, we have created a helpful image to demonstrate the layers involved and the intention of wrap-around care for all students to support shared understanding.
